The Sony FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS is a full format macro telephoto lens of the prestigious series G Master, designed to offer a exceptional image quality and one Unsurpassed versatility. With a 1.4x native magnification ratio (up to 2.8x with teleconverter), it excels in the macro photo, but also in portrait thanks to its creamy bokeh and its 11-slat circular diaphragm. Its Optimized macro optical stabilization allows shooting with a raised hand of remarkable sharpness, while its floating autofocus with 4 XD engines ensures fast, accurate and silent monitoring. Compact and robust, it has a weather resistant construction and a watering front lens, ideal for photo outdoor demanding.

WHAT TO KNOW

The Sony FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS is a professional G Master macro lens designed to reveal details difficult to perceive with the naked eye. Its maximum expansion ratio of 1.4× exceeds the traditional 1:1 macro ratio and allows to work on products, jewellery, textures, technical elements or subjects of very small size with a particularly high level of detail. Its minimum focus distance of 0.26 m, combined with optical stabilization specially optimized for close-up shooting, facilitates accurate macro shots. Its four XD linear motors ensure a fast, accurate and quiet autofocus. The lens can also be associated with Sony 1.4× and 2× teleconverters, allowing to achieve a maximum magnification of 2.8× with the 2× teleconverter.
