Positioned between FX3 and FX6, the Sony FX5 brings in a compact format several technologies from Sony high-end cinema cameras. She combines a 16.6 MP stacked full format sensor, a dynamic announced above 15 stops1 triple ISO base and registration X-OCN 16 bits directly internally. Its mode Open Gate 3:2 in 5016 × 3344 pixels exploits the entire sensor surface for anamorphic optics and vertical framings. The camera also features a wide, four-axis articulated screen, an IA-recognized autofocus, advanced monitoring tools and two CFexpress Type A and SD compatible housings.
