The Sennheiser EW-DP SKP Q1-6 is a plug-in digital transmitter that transforms a wired XLR microphone into a wireless microphone. It can be combined with the Sennheiser EW-DP EK Q1-6 receiver and is a great solution to use a cannon microphone such as the Sennheiser MKE 600 without cable between the pole and the camera or sound control. Its XLR connector provides a +48 V phantom power supply, which also allows the use of compatible capacitor microphones. A 3.5 mm mini-jack input is also integrated for greater flexibility. Digital transmission offers a dynamic 134 dB range and a latency of only 1.9 ms. The transmitter also has an internal recording on a microSD card, particularly useful as a security solution when shooting. The Q1-6 version uses the frequency range 470.2 to 526 MHz and can operate with two AA batteries or a Sennheiser BA 70 rechargeable battery.
