The Zoom F8n Pro is a professional field recorder designed to manage the sockets of its complexes requiring multiple microphones and simultaneous audio sources. Its 8 XLR/TRS combo inputs make it possible to connect cannon microphones, micro tie-ups, HF systems, hand microphones or line signals. Up to 10 tracks can be recorded simultaneously, with eight independent inputs and stereo mixing. The 32-bit floating-point recording with double A/N converters offers a very high dynamic latitude. It allows the recovery of recorded signals at very low or very high levels in post-production within the maximum level accepted by the inputs. For multicamera productions, the F8n Pro incorporates a real timecode system with BNC connectors and a TCXO oscillator with an accuracy of ±0.2 ppm, allowing to maintain precise synchronization with cameras and other equipment. Its two SD locations allow to record simultaneously on two cards, providing additional security during important shootings. The F8n Pro can also be remotely controlled in Bluetooth via the Zoom F8 Control app and used as a USB audio interface for a computer or streaming configuration.
