ZOOM REGISTER H6 ESSENTIAL

Available for rent in Cannes, the Zoom H6essential is a portable multitrack audio recorder designed for shootings, interviews, podcasts, reports, events and sound recordings requiring a compact and versatile configuration.

It has four independent XLR/TRS combo inputs with +48 V phantom power supply, plus the XYH-6e stereo microphone capsule provided. This configuration allows simultaneous recording of several external microphones and a stereo atmosphere.

The 32-bit floating-point recording associated with double A/N converters captures a very wide dynamic range without having to manually adjust the gain before recording.

The XYH-6e capsule uses two 90° directional microphones and accepts sound levels of up to 135 dB SPL, allowing to record particularly strong atmospheres, music, events and sources.

The H6essential can also function as a USB-C audio interface with a computer, smartphone or tablet, while continuing to record on its microSD card.

WHAT TO KNOW

The Zoom H6essential is a multitrack portable audio recorder designed to offer great flexibility in a particularly compact configuration.

Its four XLR/TRS combo inputs allow you to independently connect cannon microphones, HF systems, micro tie-ups, hand microphones or line sources. The provided XYH-6e stereo capsule adds two additional channels to record an atmosphere or stereo source.

Thanks to 32 bit floating point recording and double A/N converters, the H6essential can capture a very large dynamic range without requiring a traditional gain setting before recording. This technology provides particularly interesting safety in situations where noise levels can vary rapidly.

The XYH-6e capsule uses two 90° directional microphones and accepts up to 135 dB SPL, allowing you to capture both a natural atmosphere and an event or a powerful sound source.

The H6essential can also be connected in USB-C to a computer, smartphone or tablet and used as an audio interface up to 6 inputs / 2 outputs, while continuing to record locally on microSD card.
